Other then talking on the phone and texting while driving, according to this autoguide article 19 Percent of Drivers Surf the Internet While Driving | AutoGuide.com News , 20% of us surf the web while driving!

I'm not shocked by this number, I really expected a higher percentage being that a lot of people these days have upgraded to smart phones. Also a lot of these people use social networking websites like facebook & twitter, I'm guilty for being one of them.

Something needs to be done about people being distracted when driving. With technology constantly developing I believe there will be a lot more distractions to come.

What do you think should be done to battle this?

People really need to start looking out for their own safety and safety of others.

Dude i agree this is just baddd.

People really need to starting paying attention to the road more.

and certainly a lot more people need to learn what defensive driving is, so they protect themselves.

There should be a way to lock phone, once a person car is turned on while they are driving and only be able to operate it when in park!
