Hey Ya'll,
I've searched for the same issues on the forum but the others seem to have really specific markers not similar to mine.
I have a 2012 Terrain SLE 2.4 4cyl at about 132,000 miles. I'm experiencing a loud vibration noise that starts at 40mph and lasts until I hit about 55mph. This is about to be a sort of weird description, but it's the closest I can get. Imagine imitating a race car (climbing RPM and shifting) for a kid. Add an intense deep hum and exaggerated road noise. Then the whole front dash starts vibrating. If I'm driving anywhere between the 40-55mph the noise is sustained. So as you can imagine, when I'm driving on city roads it gets pretty annoying. I've had friends complain about it during a road trip.
During this time, I'm not experiencing any loss of power, loss of steering capability, or wobbles. This noise only happens when I'm between those speeds - I have no issues/noise when accelerating from 0 or coming to a stop.
Ideas and opinions?
Thank you!
