The 2013 GMC Terrain is the newest vehicle in the General Motors line-up to receive the luxury treatment in the form of the Denali trim package, and the company announced today that the small luxury SUV will have a starting price point of $35,350, not including an $825 destination charge.
The base Terrain Denali will run with a 2.4-liter I-4 front wheel drive setup, while an all new V6 powerplant, rated at 301-hp and 272 lb-ft of torque will also be available. All-wheel drive will push the base price up to $37,100, while the new V6 will be offered for an additional $1,500. The cost of the V6 engine also includes upgraded 19-inch chrome-clad wheels.
Standard features include the whole suite of GM’s safe driving technology, such as lane departure warning, forward collision alert, side blind zone and rear cross traffic alert. Eight-way power front passenger seat and dual-flow dampers for the front suspension are among the options that are exclusive to the Denali packaged Terrain.
For interior tech, GM’s Intellilink infotainment system comes standard on the car, including Bluetooth smart phone integration. Color touch navigation is offered as an add-on.
The list of options is short, and includes a trailering package, the V6, a cargo convenience net and luggage cross-bars.
A roughly $2,000 increase over the current SLT-2 top trim level, the Denali will arrive at dealers later this year.
