The auto stop on my recently purchased 2019 Terrain is driving me crazy. When I pull into the garage the engine stops before I can put it into park. When I push the park button the engine starts again only to shut off when I push the engine off button. This engine off, on and off again is not logical. I read in the owners manual that I can go directly from drive to engine off by-passing the park button altogether. Thinking this would eliminate the part button start up I tried it a few times. Problem here is, even with the engine off when I push the engine off button there is a slight "kick" of the starter before all goes off. Something tells me this can't be good either. Note: The auto stop on this vehicle can not be disabled. Does anyone out there have this problem and/or a solution?
