Hey Terrain folks,

I drive a '12 Terrain with the V6.

I notice that my battery is getting a bit soft and so I got to thinking: is there any way to disable the "feature" that causes the headlights to stay illuminated for 30 seconds after I shut down the truck?

Also, what's your pick for a new battery and how easy or hard is the swap?

Hey MT...Welcome, where you from?

RE your question...You should be able to set it for OFF like I did or set it for 30 sec., 1 min., or 2 mins...You have to access the setting under;VEHICLE PERSONALIZATION MENU, found in the audio system controls menu..then under; LIGHTING- (Exit Lighting),

As far as the battery..I recommend an Interstate

I set mine to off also. AND the horn when arming/disarming. Just flashes the lights and I prefer that over honking horns! LOL
