[SPC300]

My 2010 with 54k miles on it has had black soot in the exhaust tips from day one. Any ideas as to how this can be eliminated?

I have a 2015 V6 and it does the same thing..not bad, but enough to notice after a couple of days..

I've tried 91 octane to 87 octane fuels, E10 ethanol to pure gas..no difference..I find Shell gas leave less soot at 89 Octane....Must be a catalytic converter thing.
