I just bought a 2017 SLE-1 and was at the dealer with handsfree issues... I was told that Terrains and Iphones are not compatible and you cant say call home and have it work

I have a 2013 Terrain and have no problem with iPhone connections. I can call anyone on my contact list. How are you trying to connect?

I've used my iphone 7 in the wife's 2017 SLE2, can't say I called out but have received calls hands free.

My 2018 works fine on bluetooth mode. One thing it can't do is charge the phone, as i have a Iphone 7 and it will only do it on Iphones 8 and higher.

I think there is/was an issue between the SLE1 and SLE2 compatibility.

I have a 2013 Terrain, and my iPhone 7 works just fine with the exception it won't sync my contacts. Tried 3-4 times, still no contacts, had to finally go to phone settings on car screen and hit STORE, put each one of my IMPORTANT contacts in manually. Frustrating to say the least.

I did find a solution....when you hit the phone button on steering wheel, say VOICE, then it will ask you who you want to call. It works off Siri, if you have synced your phone.

Not true. It works in my 2012. The only quirk is that in order to stream music, I need to have at least 1 song downloaded so it looks like an iPod.
