Hey everyone,

Just joined up because I'm trying to find an answer to an issue that i can't seem to find any info on anywhere.

After a truck knocked off my wife's mirror on our 2013 Terrain SLT2, I replaced it with a OEM mirror from a Equinox. After I got it on the mirror acts pretty goofy. Using the seat memory makes the mirror move all the way up to the farthest point up and to the right and the tilt down in reverse does the same thing. you can readjust it with the door switch and the directions work as they should when you do. I'm trying to get some info on whether or not I need to have the BCM programmed or if i can get a tool to do it myself. (I wouldn't mind having a nice diagnostic tool around) I really just need to know what needs to be done so that i can take the steps i need to to fix it.

Wow!..That's a strange one...Maybe because the mirror is from another car..But if you want to bypass this craziness right now, just turn off/disable the Mirror tilt for the reverse function and see if that kills it when you hit the seat memory..After that I'm at a loss as to what you can do..I would get a Terrain Mirror if I could.
