Hello all,

We recently purchased a Terrain from Jack May which was a 2010 Demo package. We got a good discount as it had already around 16,000km on it
or so.

Anyway, I do like the car. It is optioned out to the gills except for a sunroof. It has everyone else though. :)

welcome to the forum, congrats on picking up the terrain.

what color is it?
any pictures of your new ride?
I have not taken any pictures of the new ride as of yet. At least not without it towing something like wood and other things for the time being. When I get a chance to give it a good clean, I will take a picture and post it....

seems like your using this for work purposes, construction?

if you are please let us know how well or bad it works for someone like yourself doing that type of work. I have some family that are into that industry and are looking for a new vehicle, the terrain might be for them!

lol....I was towing wood for the deck I was building and I work in the technology. :)

We use it to tow things from home depot and back as we live in a property with a lot of acreage and will be towing my wife's horse soon with a one-horse trailer.

As for whether this car would be good for someone in the construction business. Well, it depends. It has a 3500 lb towing capacity and the trunk space is generous for its size. If you don't need an open bed, then it is a good vehicle.

Hope this helps.

for light duty stuff I would say go ahead but for pulling huge trailers to transport big equipment and materials i wouldn't even dare doing that.

just keep it under 3500 LBS

the terrain might not be the ideal vehicle for such a rough environment

oh yeah, definitely. It is not a heavy duty vehicle....we just use it to haul my wife's horse short distances and we are well within the 3500lb limit. Actually,
we would likely be more around the 2500lb barrier. :)
