Red Interior dash lights question

We just bought a new 2012 terrain last night an SLT 1, I really like it but was wondering if anyone knows if you can change the color or the intensity of the RED dash lights. ... someone told us on a different make & model they were able to change between different colors.....
I like the car but find these RED dash lights to be way too annoying....I see the Equinox color is a green or blue which is what I would prefer. Either that or is there a way to at least turn down/off the red light that runs around the outside edge of the radio controls?

Does anyone else find this feature annoying or is it just me?
