Has anyone had this issue with rust running out the rear tail light onto the paint on the gate? This has been corrected once at the dealer (4 days with a loner) and now 3 months later its rusting in the same spot.

Yes I currently have the same issue with my terrain

I haven't had it very long and I'm over the body warranty but still in the corrosion time frame. The GM rep said my claim will probably be denied due to the fact that it hasn't "rusted through" even know this is a serious issue with newer GM vehicles.... Still they won't do anything about it...

mine too is in the exact same spot!!!! it must be some sort of vibration issue and the trim piece being too close to that corner. when remove mine I'm going to try and install some rubber spaces to help transfer vibrations........

Seems like it's affecting most of the folks in the North..winter salt and weather kill cars..I know, I grew up in Wisconsin...

Try getting your car through a car-wash once a week in the winter..a fresh water wash down will do wonders.
