The NADA today released the following top-five list of vehicles with highway fuel economy of at least 30 mpg, cost less than $30,000 and have many of the comfort and convenience features many drivers expect:
2011 Chevrolet Aveo – The Aveo subcompact comes with 60/40-split folding rear seats, satellite radio, OnStar®, sunroof, steel safety-cage structure and dual-stage driver and front passenger frontal and side-impact air bags. The 2LT model has an EPA rating of 27 mpg in city driving and 35 mpg on the highway. The base model starts at $11,965.
2011 GMC Terrain FWD SLT — Terrain’s has perforated-leather seats, an eight-speaker stereo, driver information center, remote start, sunroof, rear vision camera and a power lift gate. Its fuel-economy rating is 22 mpg city and 32, mpg highway and the base price is $27,850. Financing as low as 2.9% is available.
