Wobbling feeling when driving through water puddles

Was driving to day for the first time in heavy rain, noticed when I hit a 1" puddle of water at 45 mph wheels seem to wobble, I could feel it in the car and steering wheel. I was just using FWD. After I drove and cleared the puddles it was back to normal. I was not expecting to whole car to shake like that. Is this somewhat normal.
